This is the one that started off this challenge and it one that everybody seems to love. It was a blast to paint this scene, the rocks in the cove with the shallow greens of the waves crashing into the beach. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ethis was painting with gouache and it gives me the ability to work in layers much like I would with oil paint. Going thick over thin. The colours of the rocks is what pulled me in.
